Where Heritage
Meets Future.

The Hmong are an ethnic group from Southeast Asia whose story stretches across mountains, oceans, and generations. After the Vietnam War, many resettled in the United States, where today over 330,000 Hmong Americans — and 115,000 here in California — continue to build, lead, and thrive.

Sacramento Hmong New Year, Inc. is a non-profit cultural hub. We connect the Hmong community with local businesses, civic organizations, and the broader public to build mutual respect, shared experiences, and a future where our heritage thrives.

Our annual festival is more than an event — it is a cultural landmark, an economic engine, and a homecoming for tens of thousands of families across the nation.
