ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The origins of corn-hole are debated, but the most popular story traces its roots to 14th-century Germany, where a similar game using bags of grain and wooden platforms was played. Modern corn-hole, however, is believed to have been popularized in the United States, particularly in the Midwest, during the late 20th century. Some credit the game’s current format to the Cincinnati area in the 1970s, where it became a staple at social gatherings. Over the years, corn-hole has evolved into a competitive sport with established rules, leagues, and even professional tournaments, while still remaining a beloved casual activity for people of all ages.
