Miss Hmong California

Mission Statement:

The Miss Hmong California Pageant Competition is dedicated to celebrating the beauty, talent, and resilience of Hmong women while preserving and promoting Hmong culture, traditions, and values. Our mission is to empower young Hmong women to become confident leaders, cultural ambassadors, and positive role models within their communities and beyond.

Through this competition, we strive to:

The Miss Hmong California Pageant aims to cultivate leadership by providing a platform for participants to develop their leadership skills, public speaking abilities, and confidence, empowering them to inspire and uplift others. It honors Hmong heritage by showcasing the rich traditions of the Hmong people, including traditional attire, language, and cultural practices, fostering pride and appreciation for a shared cultural identity. The pageant promotes education and advocacy by encouraging contestants to pursue personal growth and higher education while using their voices to address important social and community issues. Additionally, it fosters community engagement by creating an inclusive and supportive environment that unites the Hmong community and its allies, celebrating unity, diversity, and shared aspirations.

The Miss Hmong California Pageant is more than a celebration of beauty—it is a movement to empower the next generation of Hmong women to lead with purpose, represent with pride, and inspire change. Together, we honor the past, celebrate the present, and build a brighter future for our community.
